San Francisco

When Larry and I decided to apply for this internship, there was no doubt in my mind that we would not be sent to San Francisco. After all, this is were I grew up and they knew that! We were thinking St. Thomas or Puerto Rico. I might never know why Del Sol decided to send us here, however, we are making the most of it. It is amazing to have my family near by. I have decided that I am not quite cut out for city life so it is nice to escape to Walnut Creek every once in a while. We've been here for almost 2 months and I can now say I am a pro at the public transportation system. Although it is getting a little old, it is fun to say that I've done the city thing. I am very grateful to not have snow but this rain has got to go! I need sun shine, not fog and gloom! The weather is starting to improve and our spirits are lifting! San Francisco can be very beautiful! Plus you can't beat the shopping... it is Amazing! Which might not be a good thing for this shopaholic!

Since arriving, we have eaten at numorous incredible restuarants at a discount price because we are Pier 39 employees which is really sweet. We've both realized our love for crab cakes and I will attempt to make them this week! We've gone to the aquarium, union square and saw Wicked! It was amazing! I loved every moment! I just can't beleive that they were singing like that right there in front of me! It was fantastic! We are still planning a trip to sacilito, a climb up coit tower and a bike ride across the bridge. We're just waiting for the weather to improve. Also for Valentine's day, Larry got his much desired XBOX 360 (which I got for a steal on craigslist!). He also took a trip to Miami with a friend last week.

Also, I just wanted to mention that we would love visitors! If any of you want to come visit San Fran, we have plenty of room to set up an air mattress!
